2014
Investor Readiness Program (until 2017)
Created a strong network of mentors to support promising B.C. technology companies through the investment process. B.C. businesses were introduced to Silicon Valley by establishing a live/work facility in San Francisco.

Cleantech Scale-Up Program (until 2020)
Formed a strong network of mentors and advisors from local markets to guide clean technology companies to identify global sales opportunities and cleantech challenges, as well as attract local and global growth capital.

2017
Startup Visa Program
Alacrity was chosen to be a designated organization by the Government of Canada to run this program. It attracts foreign entrepreneurs who wish to establish new, high-growth businesses in Canada.

2019
Digital Marketing Bootcamp
Delivered either in-person or virtually, the bootcamp prepares students for real-world digital marketing careers and was hugely helpful in digitizing B.C.’s businesses during the pandemic.

BC Cleantech Initiative Program
Creates a mentorship network from local markets to international ones, supporting and guiding clean technology companies through growth and investment, driving global sales from Mexico, India, Northern Europe, and Singapore.

2020
CleanBC Plastics Action Fund
This fund’s purpose is to reduce the use of virgin plastic used and discarded to landfills, encouraging the use of post-consumer recycled plastics in manufacturing for different industries and use in multiple areas.

2021
Launch Online Grant Program
Provided $42M in grant funding to B.C.-based businesses to create an online shop or an online booking system, and/or to improve their existing online operations to attract new local customers and expand to new markets.
- 30% of funds are reserved for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC)-owned businesses and businesses operating outside of the lower mainland and greater Victoria.
