CDAP Stream 1:
Grow Your
Online Business

Helping Small Businesses Take Advantage Of Ecommerce Opportunities

CDAP Stream 1 provides:

  • A reimbursement of up to $2,400 to invest in Ecommerce opportunities.
  • Access a network of Ecommerce advisors for tailored support and advice; helping you create and/or optimize your Ecommerce business.
  • Earn more than 30k revenue in a year or have at least one employee other than the owner
  • Don’t currently sell online or want to make improvements to an existing e-commerce site
  • Operate a registered for-profit business (social enterprises and cooperatives included) in British Columbia
  • Have a business that is customer-facing

CDAP Stream 2 provides:

  • Access to a marketplace of digital adoption experts to create a plan tailored to their needs.
  • Up to $15,000 to consult a digital advisor and develop a digital adoption plan.
  • Up to $100,000 in interest-free loans from BDC to help implement the digital adoption plan.
  • $500,000 to $100M of annual revenues in one of the previous three years
  • Full-time equivalent employees between 1–499
  • Sole proprietors or businesses incorporated under the laws of Canada or a province/territory

    • Privately owned

Help Eligible Small Businesses Develop An Ecommerce Plans Tailored To Their Needs

Alacrity and GYBO will hire, train, mentor, and support students who are looking to become E-commerce Advisors. Once training is complete, each E-commerce Advisor will be deployed to support different BC Businesses; giving them a chance to practice their skill and gain tangible experience.

  • Be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and your primary residence is in BC
  • Be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
  • Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment
